Emily Rowland

Biography

I have been a level 2 master teacher for several years. I am Director of study of Computing at Fairfield high school  for girls, Droylsden, Manchester. I began teaching Mathematics in 1999 then gradually moved into ICT. I have developed  my computing skills in my own time and have now been teaching GCSE Computing for three years. I love teaching and have  loved this new chapter, I keep learning and hope to help others do the same. Relating to my pupils and life long  learning is my key to ensuring enthusiasm in the classroom. I have helped schools to develop computing and work with  several teachers to improve knowledge and skills to engage in the new computing curriculum.
